Tata Nexon to have two engines - 1.2L Petrol and 1.5L Diesel

Tata Motors today affirmed the two engines that will go into the Tata Nexon which will have its media dispatch this month. Tata Motors has affirmed in the discharge that the Nexon goes on sale in festive season.



Naming the new engines "control pressed" and "performance situated", they are the 1.2L Turbocharged Petrol from the Revotron arrangement and the 1.5L Diesel motor from the Revotorq family. Tata is promising "unrivaled bundle of fuel proficiency, performance, and refinement" in the new engines.

The Tata Nexon short form of "NEXT-ON" appeared at the Auto Expo 2016. The engines are indigenous items from Tata Motors with contributions from innovation providers AVL, Bosch, Mahale and Honeywell. The Revotron motor will be made at the Sanand office (Gujarat) while the Revotorq motor will be made at the Ranjangaon office (Maharashtra).
