Electric Car Conversion Kit for Alto and WagonR by E-Trio Automobiles
A Hyderabad startup - E Trio Automobiles will soon launch the electric car conversion kits for the various popular cars which runs on fossil fuels. The company has received the ARAI certification for the Maruti Alto and WagonR kits.
The car with conversion kit can go to 150 km in a single run. The kit battery is sourced from China and the Controller unit is built by them.
The company is targeting up to 5000 units installation in initial phase from next year. The Company founder said that the retrofitting will be the future need. If done properly then the cost of kit is more economical then their counterparts in the markets. This will also help in tackling air pollution created by cars running on conventional fuels.
