New Porsche 906/917 GT Vision Concept

One automaker that unfalteringly opposed getting in on the activity was Porsche, what with its old authorizing practices and all, yet that didn't prevent some autonomous planners from imagining their own.

We saw the fairly dazzling 908-94 idea this past summer, and now another planner has tossed his hustling striped cap into the ring. His name is Alexander Imnadze, and he's worked for Bertone, Alfa Romeo, and Ford, among others. We've highlighted his outlines on these pages a few circumstances some time recently, including a fairly shocking Bugatti GT proposition and a smooth Maserati Bora restoration, however this could be his best work yet.

Named the Porsche GT Vision 906/917, it pays respect to Le Mans racers from Weissach's history, yet in a completely current (if not cutting edge) shape. The outline, to put it plainly, doesn't simply imagine what a Porsche idea for Gran Turismo could resemble, yet envisions a successor to the triumphant 919 Hybrid that won both the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship the previous two years running.
